Welcome to Chopstick Diet!

Hello there! First post for Chopstick Diet!

I’m Hazel HaciƱas, just call me Yamo or Miyabi Sato or whatever you want to call me. I’ve been blogging for so many years, if I could still recall, it was when the high school days. I’m taking up Communication Arts in Colegio de San Juan de Letran- Bataan. You can follow me on twitter (iYAMOsays) or just visit my personal blog in AMEBA.

About my history way back in high school and freshman days in college, I used to skip meals during lunch. Not because I want to lose weight but I’m saving up my money for some personal reason. Then, when I entered college, I became more desperate to lose weight and started taking diet pills. I lost some pounds in just 4 weeks but I started feeling dizzy and exhausted even when I’m not doing anything. So I stopped taking pills.  After a year, my friends told me that I gained much weight compared before. I admit after I stopped taking pills, I ate much like eating 1 ½ cup of rice every meals. I never let 12 o’clock passed without eating rice. I tried to take pills again but it never worked anymore. It just made the situation worst. That’s how my obesity started. I envied my friends because they eat much as I do but still they remained skinny.

I know it is a bit of a sudden that I created this blog just now. I haven’t tried this Chop Stick Diet thingy but I want to try it and see if this really going to work out. At the same time I want to share this experience to those people who also want to lose weight. I’ve read many blogs and research about different diets and thought to get ideas from it to form a new diet method. I don’t know if this one already existed but the concept of this diet just came out of my mind. And yes, it is very Eastern. You don’t need to spend much money. You don’t need to become anorexic or starving yourself to death or do a deadly exercise in the gym.  You just need to discipline yourself. Ok so I’m gonna start the plan by writing it here.

First the Do’s and Don’ts!

  •   Do the popular Japanese diet. The Banana Diet. It sounds a bit effective to me. Just eat Banana for breakfast and drink 8 glasses of water per day.
  • Don’t be afraid to eat rice. Just a small cup of rice for lunch and half for dinner. Use Chopstick if you can and enjoy your meal.
  • Oatmeal will become your bestfriend since it will help to release your wastes.
  • As we always remind you, always eat fruits and vegetables! You have to start loving apples.
  • Play hula hoop or jumping rope for 30 minutes a day. Or just laugh for a total of 30 minutes a day –if you can. It will help to burn fats in your tummy. Watch funny movies and avoid being depressed.
  • Eggs are super high in protein and can help you burn that unwanted belly fat.
  • Avoid eating chicken skin.
  • Say good bye to Burgers, large fries and FAST FOOD!
  • Also avoid junk food! Goodbye tortillos!
  • Avoid alcoholic drinks especially beer
  • You are allowed to eat Ice cream at least once a month.
  •  Try to skip snack some time especially during siesta time.
  • After eating a meal, stand up or walk for about 5-7 minutes.
  • Get enough sleep from 10PM to 6AM
  • AND AVOID SLEEPING AFTER EATING!
Monitoring your weight every two weeks will help. And the most important –discipline. Just think of the benefits that you will get if you don’t eat much. There is no easy way to lose weight, but if you are desperate enough. Just do what I said. So good luck for both of us!
